Job Description
The Summer Internal Auditor, Wealth Management will:
- Support the Wealth Management - Investor Services Audit team in planning and executing audit engagements. Audit engagements are conducted to ensure adequate coverage of key business processes to support an independent and objective assessment and opinion on the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices.
- Contribute to execution of various assurance engagements in the Annual Audit Plan and formally document audit evidence and findings, in accordance with Internal Audit guidelines.
- Support the team in uncovering patterns, trends, and anomalies through analysis of data sets and the use of visualization tools.
- Contribute to identifying and recommending efficiency opportunities within the business / internal audit practices.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Curious, dynamic, adaptable, solution-oriented team player, problem-solver and self-starter.
- Experience in analyzing information including its context and using professional judgement to draw the correct conclusions.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications - Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized with good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with team members and business stakeholders. Aptitude and desire to work in a dynamically challenging environment.
- Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and multi-task efficiently without sacrificing work quality.
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge and understanding of the Wealth Management business.
- Working knowledge of data analytics / visualization tools.

- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
