JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Markham, Ontario, Canada
- Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time 37.5 hrs a week, either in a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
- Duration: 16-months, May 05, 2025 - August 27, 2026
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Test Engineering intern/co-op to join our team. In this role-
- Our team will train you to perform Yield analysis and use industry standard tools to support yield debug and failure analysis
- Your involvement will be in Product debug and characterization to determine product performance, process, and test sensitivities
- We will encourage you to build scripts or tools to improve efficiency
- You will be assigned tasks like Test planning, building test cases, pattern debug, characterization, data analysis, and silicon debug of scan/ATPG, memory BIST & High Speed I/O tests
- We will help you learn and apply failure mechanisms, and debug processes
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- You are currently enrolled in a Canada based University into a Bachelor's degree program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply –
- Linux, Ruby/Perl/Python, Java
- Basics of transistors and computer architecture
- Microsoft Office apps
- SQL, data analysis & visualization tools
- XP, AGILE, Scrum, or Kanban programming paradigms
- Logic analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes
- Course work completed in statistics, solid state and semiconductor device, physics, computer architecture, digital and analog design, semiconductor manufacturing process
