What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Director, Transformation & Operational Excellence, as the Senior Project Manager, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within Administration and you will play a key role in delivering the Document Management System project. You will work with minimal direction, applying deep knowledge in their field of expertise to manage the delivery of project management practices and processes including reporting, project planning, and support activities. You will have a high level of interaction with Technology partners, business partners and with management of internal and external groups. As a Senior Project Manager, you will have a direct impact on the success of the Document Management System project and the overall Legal Technology Roadmap.

How you'll succeed

Project Management – Outline project goals, terms of reference, resource requirements, and costs. Create a resource plan that ensures all stakeholders have a voice on the project. Assess the efficiency of the practices and procedures used by a team and provide guidance that will continuously improve the project plan.

Project Governance – Gather Project information across business, technology and vendors to provide a consolidated view. Ensure adherence to Project Fiscal Plan and that Financial metrics for Quarters are met. Ensure Business Case Governance is established and align with Enterprise PMO Standards.

Financial Management – Possess extensive management of Project/Program Financials including Forecasting, Accruals and Actuals alignment is required.

Collaboration – Help internal partners make informed decisions about the development of products, and services. Coach and mentor, your teams as you work toward a common goal. Negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary.

Project Coordination – Proactively identify risks to the project schedule and find ways to mitigate them. Monitor milestones; ensure they are completed according to timelines and budgets. Execute a project plan that strikes the right balance between budget, time, and risk.

Communication and Persuasion – Share ideas, build consensus, and write with impact.

Relationships – Develop trusted working relationships with business stakeholders and technology partners.

Leadership – Possess extensive experience, training, and mentoring colleagues.
Who you are
-
You have 5-10 years' experience in Project Management . You can demonstrate a deep understanding of the practices, procedures, and principles required to successfully deliver large projects, from planning to implementation. Ability to analyze detailed concepts, quickly resolve project issues, and assess the advantages and disadvantages of solutions.

You have a degree/diploma in a related field of study. It's an asset if you have your PMP designation.
