*Forma Steel* manufactures steel roofing, siding, trim, and custom panels in a variety of gauges, colors, and finishes for every structure you can imagine. We manufacture our product in Fort Macleod, Alberta, approximately 25 minutes West of Lethbridge, in an enclosed plant that is open all year. With over 30 years of experience, you can expect to join an established company that offers numerous prospects. *We are currently looking to hire the following position in our Forma Steel facility. **Role:* Forklift Operator *Job Type:* Full-time Permanent *Work Schedule:* Monday to Friday The role will assist in the daily crew operations within our Manufacturing teams as required and put out by the Forma Steel Shop Supervisor & Lead Hand. *Key Responsibilities:*· Operate industrial forklift to transport materials to and from storage areas, workstations, and within other areas of assignment. · Assist Forma Steel Manufacturing teams in packing and banding down products safely and efficiently (sheet metal panels, fasteners, fittings, accessories, etc.)· Check work orders and verify the correct product is being placed in the appropriate loading areas according to Logistics procedures. · Assist with the daily upkeep of the metal manufacturing areas including trucks, organizing finished products, cleaning & maintaining storage of metal products, etc. · Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customer's safety. · Assist in yard logistics (loading, unloading, etc.) with additional support when required. · Operate all Forklifts in a safe and efficient manner. *Key Requirements:*· Trained Forklift operators (loading and unloading experience required) considered a strong asset. · Trained Combi-lift operators considered a strong asset. · Ability to work in a team environment. · Basic math skills. · Must have the ability to be alert while operating machinery. _*Please note: You must have CSA approved work boots, as they are REQUIRED when on the manufacturing floor.*_ Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime Supplemental pay types: * Overtime pay Application question(s): * Will you be able to attend work in Fort MacLeod, AB (Near Lethbridge)* Are you able to attend work in Fort macLeod AB?
