Job Description

S egula is looking for a Quality technician to be based at one of its main client depot site (Montréal south side) to perform quality check due to REM modification

• Inspect, test and confirm REM modifications.
• Update technical documentation as required.
• Update obsolescence plan.
• Make proposals for updating instructions and work processes based on the maintenance plan and maintenance manuals.
• Analyze technical performance of systems after modifications to rolling stock.
• Manage technical documentation within the system and any interface required with the Design (modification) team.
• Develop standardized tools and processes that improve the efficiency of testing activities (in line with the quality process).
• Report activities associated with quality. Advise on improving quality reporting.
• Implement and monitor standardized, ongoing fleet reliability improvement plans, proactively reviewing modified fleet KPIs and promoting improvement actions.
• Seek improvement actions in modification operations, performing engineering interface activities with operations engineers (depot support).
• Analyze post-modification failure criticality studies (if applicable).
• Support test and quality activities on the modified fleet.

Qualifications

• Experience on the REM project preferred, preferably
• DEC or AEC in Industrial Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of Lean Manufuring or Lean Six SIgma
