SALARY: $61,802 - $72,685

ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:
The Human Resources (HR) Representative is responsible to provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team with the recruitment and selection process, projects, and assisting with departmental tasks as necessary.

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide core administrative support to the Human Resources team, particularly in recruitment & selection, benefits, and compensation functions.
  • Schedule and confirm interviews, prepares interview packages, administers assessments and conducts reference checks.
  • Maintain recruitment files, logs data metrics, including utilization of the Applicant Tracking Software (ATS)
  • Manage job boards and career sites; assist in preparing documents for job posting
  • Maintain weekly activities on company website and other social media boards
  • Organize and maintain employee files and documentation, prepare files for storage, prepares new employee files and inputs data into system
  • Provide administrative support to Labour and Employee Relations team as required
  • Provide project/special assignment support, gather information, conduct research, and assemble pertinent materials as required
  • Support HR team in the preparation of documentation related to employee matters
  • Maintain employee files and input data into system including health benefits enrollment and maintenance
  • Driving a positive and engaged associate base by participating in and communicating engagement activities and other employee relations related tasks
  • Support internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
  • Coordinate employee training sessions
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years' administrative experience, preferably in a Human Resources capacity
  • CHRP, CHRL and/or working towards is preferred
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
  • Excellent knowledge of office practices, protocols, and procedures
  • Strong professionalism with the ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
