They are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Medicinal Chemist to join their Peptide Discovery team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, synthesizing, and optimizing novel peptides for therapeutic applications. Responsibilities:
- Design and synthesize novel peptides for drug discovery programs.
- Conduct structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies to optimize peptide leads.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including biochemists, pharmacologists, and computational chemists.
- Utilize state-of-the-art techniques and technologies in peptide chemistry.
- Analyze and interpret data, troubleshoot experimental challenges, and propose creative solutions.
- Stay current with scientific literature and contribute to intellectual property development.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in peptide design, synthesis, and optimization for medicinal purposes.
- Strong background in modern analytical techniques, purification methods, and characterization of peptides.
- Experience with peptide library design and screening is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of structure-based drug design and computational chemistry tools is a plus.
