Job Description:
On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a Full Stack Developer to customize an open source application to meet the needs of their cloud data platform metadata solution.
Services Required:
- Customize open source software in order to meet the needs of the team
- Feature development and bug fixes
- REST API & plugin development and documentation
- Development, packaging and deployment in dev/test/production environments following the methodologies and standards
- Document Installation & configuration guides
- Provide development support during release rollout
- Collaboration and contribution (code and documentation) to the open source community
Specific Qualifications or Experience Required:
- Full software development lifecycle experience
- Experience with Git Enterprise source control or similar
- Experience developing and deploying a Docker environment
- Full-stack development experience:
- UI: Angular 9 & Angular Material, CSS
- API: TypeScript & Java
- Rest API: .NET
- Backend: Grails, Groovy, Java, Apache Lucene
- PostgreSQL
- Experience working in Azure cloud environment
- Ability to understand code quickly and make customizations as needed
- Self-starter, takes initiative, and drives things to completion with minimal supervision
- Experience working with open source communities a plus.
