Reporting directly to the owner, this pivotal role involves overseeing the entirety of our property management operations, ensuring strategic alignment with our company's objectives and values. We are dedicated to effectively managing our extensive assets and providing quality living experiences to our residents. The Vice President Operations will play a critical role in overseeing and enhancing the operational and administrative functions of our company. This position requires a leader with a proven track record in managing complex operations and leading large teams towards achieving organizational goals. Experience in property management. Significant experience in managing Canadian operations, with a history of increasing managerial responsibilities, including HR functions. Proficiency in accounting and financial management activities. Strong negotiation skills, with experience managing all third-party contracts (e.g., elevators, fire prevention, utilities, significant maintenance, etc.). Ensure the timely production of accurate financial statements and conduct comprehensive financial analyses to support decision-making. Oversee a broad range of HR functions including legal compliance, recruitment, training, and supervision of a team of over 100 people. Provide strategic direction and guidance to our team, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness. Lead all 3rd party contract negotiations and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including all levels of government.
