Fabrication Manager- Production Manager -Metal Parts Manufacturing - Custom Metal Fabrication

Location: Mississauga - Brampton ON

Base Salary: 120K - 140K base benefits

5 days a week on Site

Day shift

Monday -Friday

Minimum Experience Required (MUST have) :

Management / leadership experince in custom metal fabrication under Canadian Health & Safety Requirements MUST be close to 10 years

Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision custom-built machine parts / custom fabrication and have a job open for Fabrication Manager- Production Manager for the day shift for their manufacturing plant in their Mississauga - Brampton ON area. Experience supervising / managing precision parts for machine manufacturing within CNC Lathe Machining welding and similar is a MUST have.

Fabrication Manager- Production Manager is fully responsible for giving leadership to the plant shop floor -CNC Lathe, Cutting , bending welding within this custom fabrication plant and be responsible for Production Planning, Production scheduling , Material Planning and supervising processes in CNC, Lathe, Cutting, Bending, Welding and similar. You will be responsible for labour scheduling, safety, performance management, coaching and mentoring. You will oversee the shift budget ensure production planning, material planning, production scheduling, shipping receiving. You will work along Plant Engineering Process Improvement for any Continuous Improvement lean initiatives.

Fabrication Manager- Production Manager will ideally have a degree / diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) and a minimum of 12-15 years' leadership experience as production manager foreman within Canadian Health & Safety requirements within CNC, welding environment. CNC (MUST have ) Hands-on welding experience / experienced welder (MIG TIG ) with leadership / management/ team lead experience highly preferred.
