Job: Fabrication shop Foreman - Production Manager - Custom Fabrication -welding cnc

Location: Mississauga - Brampton ON

Base Salary: 125K - 140K base benefits

5 days a week on Site

Our client is a leading manufacturing company in custom fabrication of steel and similar metals and have a job open for a Fabrication Shop Foreman - Production Manager for the day shift for their manufacturing plant in their Mississauga - Brampton ON area. Experience supervising / managing custom fabrication CNC Lathe Machining welding and similar is a MUST have.

Fabrication Shop Foreman - Production Manager is fully responsible for giving leadership to the custom fabrication plant and be responsible for Production Planning, Production scheduling , Material Planning and supervising processes in CNC, Lathe, Cutting, Bending, Welding and similar. You will be responsible for labour scheduling, safety, performance management, coaching and mentoring. You will oversee the shift budget ensure production planning, material planning, production scheduling, shipping receiving. You will work along Plant Engineering Process Improvement for any Continuous Improvement lean initiatives.

Fabrication Shop Foreman - Production Manager will ideally have a degree / diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) and a minimum of 12-15 years' leadership experience as production manager foreman within Canadian Health & Safety requirements within CNC, welding environment. CNC (MUST have ) Hands-on welding experience / experienced welder (MIG TIG ) with leadership / management/ team lead experience highly preferred.
