Software Engineer - Embedded Systems

Penta Search Group has been engaged by one of our clients, a leading medical device manufacturer, to hire a Software Engineer, Embedded Systems to join a high-impact R&D team building life-changing medical technology. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on embedded Linux development, C/C++ programming, and firmware for hardware devices used in real-world clinical environments.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain embedded software for next-generation medical devices
• Own features through the full development cycle: design, implementation, debugging, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, QA, and manufacturing teams
• Support and improve existing firmware products and internal build systems
• Contribute to long-term software architecture and technical decisions

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems or firmware development
• Strong proficiency in C and C++
• Solid hands-on experience with embedded Linux and command-line tools
• Comfortable debugging hardware-level issues and working close to the metal
• Bonus: experience with Qt, Java, or test automation frameworks
