Position Overview:
As a User Experience (UX) Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing seamless, intuitive, and engaging user experiences across our digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to deliver exceptional products that align with both user needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research (e.g., surveys, interviews, usability testing) to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas and interactions.
- Create intuitive and visually appealing UI designs while ensuring a seamless user experience across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with technical requirements.
- Design and iterate on low and high-fidelity prototypes to test and refine concepts.
- Conduct usability testing and analyze feedback to continuously improve designs.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and other design artifacts to communicate design solutions.
- Stay current on industry best practices, trends, and emerging design tools and technologies.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and establish design priorities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, if applicable.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a UX Designer or in a similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, InVision, or similar.
- Strong understanding of design systems, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
- Ability to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other design documentation.
- Strong communication skills to present and explain design decisions clearly.
- Experience in conducting and analyzing user research, usability testing, and data-driven design.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in designing for mobile-first or multi-platform experiences.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to inform design decisions.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
