Position Overview:

As a User Experience (UX) Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing seamless, intuitive, and engaging user experiences across our digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to deliver exceptional products that align with both user needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct user research (e.g., surveys, interviews, usability testing) to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
  2. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas and interactions.
  3. Create intuitive and visually appealing UI designs while ensuring a seamless user experience across web and mobile platforms.
  4. Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with technical requirements.
  5. Design and iterate on low and high-fidelity prototypes to test and refine concepts.
  6. Conduct usability testing and analyze feedback to continuously improve designs.
  7. Create user personas, journey maps, and other design artifacts to communicate design solutions.
  8. Stay current on industry best practices, trends, and emerging design tools and technologies.
  9. Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development process.
  10. Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and establish design priorities.
  11. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, if applicable.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a UX Designer or in a similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  2. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, InVision, or similar.
  3. Strong understanding of design systems, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
  4. Ability to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other design documentation.
  5. Strong communication skills to present and explain design decisions clearly.
  6. Experience in conducting and analyzing user research, usability testing, and data-driven design.
  7. Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Experience in designing for mobile-first or multi-platform experiences.
  3. Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to inform design decisions.
  4. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
