Role Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineer with extensive experience in structural assessment, design, and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the integrity of building structures, designing structural components, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role requires strong expertise in structural engineering, particularly in the building envelope sector.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform structural analysis and design of buildings and other structures.

•Conduct condition assessments and provide recommendations for repairs or reinforcement.

•Develop technical reports, drawings, and specifications for structural projects.

•Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other team members to develop integrated designs.

•Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code and other relevant structural standards.

•Conduct site inspections and provide field support during construction.

•Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

Education and Experience

•Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.

•Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario (additional provinces considered an asset).

•5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in building envelope design and assessment.

•Strong knowledge of structural analysis, material properties, and design principles.

•Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.

•Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
