Senior Machine Design Engineer

In-Office (with Flexibility) - Brantford, ON, Canada

$50-$65/hr Pension Full Benefits OT after 40 hrs

ProVantage Automation is on the hunt for a creative, experienced machine design engineer to join our team of automation pros. We're a Rockwell Authorized Systems Integrator Partner, designing specialized machinery and fully integrated robotic systems for clients across North America - with a focus in Paper Converting and Food & Beverage.

What You'll Do

• Design custom machinery: converting, packaging, and automation systems
• Collaborate with sales during early concept phases
• Perform detailed engineering calcs (loads, speeds, horsepower, etc.)
• Support testing and commissioning
• Contribute to design-for-manufacture and maintenance

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years' experience in machine design (not looking for static design)
• Mechanical Engineering degree
• Strong SolidWorks skills
• Knowledge of motion systems (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
• Excellent communicator and self-starter
• Bonus: experience with Motion Analyzer and estimating
