Responsibilities
• Supervise engineering and project management staff and assign tasks
• Develop work methods and make recommendations regarding staff issues
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback
• Define project objectives, scope, estimates, schedules, work plans, and resource requirements
• Coordinate technical work and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Prepare and submit necessary proposals and documentation
• Maintain and update departmental procedures
• Contribute to the preparation of the Department's annual budget and monitor project costs
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a Nuclear environment is an asset
• Proven track record in project management within a Nuclear, Hydroelectric, or Thermal facility
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Excellent presentation skills
Education Requirements
• University Degree in Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, or a related field
Education Requirements Credential Category
• Certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project or Program Management Professional (PMP, PGMP) is considered an asset
Experience Requirements
• Experience delivering Construction Management services for major projects
• Familiarity with the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK ) is advantageous
