Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Java Developer to join our growing team . As a Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable microservices applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Azure technologies. You will be responsible for building and deploying RESTful APIs, interacting with Azure SQL databases, and contributing to the development of our payment card processing infrastructure

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and relevant design patterns.
• Develop and deploy RESTful APIs for various business functionalities.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka for asynchronous communication between microservices.
• Work with Azure Cloud services, including Azure SQL Database, to build and deploy applications.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our payment card processing infrastructure, with a focus on security and performance.
• Collaborate with other developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's knowledge base.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in Java development and microservices architecture.

Role Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of microservices design patterns, including event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Kafka for message queuing and event streaming.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services, including Azure SQL Database.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Preferred:
• Experience with payment card processing
• Experience with other Azure services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, or Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
