Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Work Type: Full Time - On site

Location: Montreal, QB

Salary Range: $100K - $130K

About the Company: We are working with a leading professional services company in photonics product and manufacturing process developments.

They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the opto-mechanical design for optical packaging projects. You'll design and test lens assemblies, laser packaging, and alignment tools, while ensuring product reliability and manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical and opto-mechanical components
• Conduct FEA and CFD analysis (nice to have)
• Develop manufacturing processes and tools
• Oversee part production and assembly
• Test product reliability and performance
• Work closely with clients to define project goals

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in SolidWorks & SolidWorks Simulation Pro
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Bilingual (French & English)
