Our client is a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering firm seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team in Toronto. With a strong reputation in the industrial, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors, the company provides innovative engineering and project management solutions that drive client success across Ontario and beyond.

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, coordinating, and executing electrical engineering projects for industrial and commercial facilities. You'll collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver quality solutions from initial concept through to construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Prepare electrical layouts, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform site assessments and field inspections during various project stages.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Conduct load calculations, arc flash analysis, and other electrical studies using relevant software.
• Ensure all work meets applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technologists as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4-8 years of related engineering experience, ideally in industrial projects.
• P.Eng. designation (or eligibility for registration in Ontario).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team-based environment.
