The Role

We're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will rapidly build and deploy both frontend and backend components that integrate with our AI models and healthcare data systems. You'll develop user-friendly applications and impactful features that optimize the clinical research experience.

As part of a fast-paced startup, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact from day one, influencing both the technical direction and the evolution of the product.

What You'll Do

• Develop Full-Stack Applications: Build, deploy, and iterate on frontend (React, JavaScript/TypeScript) and backend (Python or Node.js) features that enhance the clinical research experience.
• Integrate AI Models: Collaborate with the ML team to integrate AI-driven features into clinical workflows, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Improve User Experiences: Focus on creating intuitive, responsive user interfaces that make complex clinical workflows simple and efficient.
• Design Scalable Systems: Architect backend systems and APIs that support real-time data processing and interaction with diverse healthcare systems (e.g., EHR, CTMS).
• Drive Engineering Best Practices: Advocate for clean code, fast iteration, CI/CD practices, and a focus on scalability and security in all aspects of development.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the team to refine features based on user feedback and continuously improve the platform.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience, ideally in a fast-paced startup or product-driven environment.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and frontend best practices.
• Strong experience with Python or Node.js for building scalable backend services and APIs (RESTful or GraphQL).
• Proficiency in data engineering practices and tools (e.g., PostgreSQL, Spark, Kafka, ETL pipelines)
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and implementing cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate on features, focusing on delivering user-centered solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with a collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with design, product, and technical teams.

Bonus Points

• Experience with AI/ML-powered applications or healthcare tech platforms (e.g., EDC, CTMS, FHIR).
• Familiarity with DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes.
• Exposure to infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
