Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educational Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. You will work closely with students to develop and adjust personalized academic plans, monitor their progress, and provide guidance throughout their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to students on educational matters, including the selection of schools and programs, class scheduling, course registration, and the development of study skills,etc.
- Collect students information and offer personalized academic counseling, helping them navigate the application process for high schools, universities, and other educational institutions.
- Advise students on career-related topics, including career exploration and planning, while offering a comprehensive array of educational and occupational resources. Deliver counseling and informational services, such as professional development workshops in collaboration with other educational institutions.
- Assist students in finding community volunteer and internship opportunities, including helping them with rsum preparation and job interview skills.
- Accompany students and their parents to school visits, meetings, and interviews.
- Organize and participate in activities, workshops, and seminars. Collaborate with other professionals, including psychologists, speech therapists, study skills specialists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to student counseling and support.
- Monitor student progress and adjust individualized academic plans based on each students unique strengths, goals, and progress; offer timely advice and support to ensure their academic success.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with educational institutions, including high schools, universities, and colleges.
- Research the latest academic information and share it with students and parents, including updates on standardized tests, changes in university application requirements, and academic research opportunities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field
- Passionate about helping students succeed and achieve their academic goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build rapport with students
- Be responsible, patient, and have enthusiastic about education
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate students availability
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an asset
