Island Health is hiring a temporary full-time Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Infectious Disease/Antimicrobial Stewardship at Campbell River Hospital on Vancouver Island.

The Opportunity

Working in a collaborative, patient-centered, team environment, the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in ID/AMS functions as an clinical expert in Infectious Disease and Antimicrobial Stewardship, educator, mentor and researcher. They collaborate with a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to monitor and analyze prescribing trends, develop policies and clinical pathways for infection management, as well as engage in quality improvement initiatives to optimize antimicrobial use at inpatient and outpatient locations within the North Island region.

This positions is Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with an approximate end date of December 30, 2026.
