Nurse Practitioner (Full-Time Contractual - 3- 6Months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, In-Office
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP). You will be reporting to the Vice President & Chief Medical Officer.
The NP will provide advanced primary and specialty nursing care to employees at designated locations in Toronto area.
This is a full-time contractual (3 months can be extended) requiring on-site work five days a week to support the Chief Medical Officer . The successful candidate must be able to independently commute to locations, with flexibility to travel to additional sites if needed.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide comprehensive primary care in collaboration with Corporate Health Services professionals.
Diagnose and treat illnesses autonomously.
Order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, and perform medical procedures.
Deliver holistic healthcare , including mental health support, chronic illness management, and health education.
Consult with physicians or other healthcare professionals for cases requiring specialized care.
Collaborate with internal teams such as Wellbeing, Health & Safety, and Workplace Experience to support employee wellness initiatives.
Contribute to workflow improvements within Corporate Health Services to enhance office operations.
Requirements:-
Master's degree in Nursing and a valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification (preferably in Primary Health Care).
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited university.
Current registration & good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN(EC).
3-5 years of RN and/or NP experience , preferably in Emergency Services .
Extensive experience in patient assessment in emergency situations .
Knowledge of defibrillator use
Current CPR/First Aid certification
.
Clear criminal record check.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills .
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment .
Proficiency in technology programs and electronic medical records .
Commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance with all healthcare regulations.
