Telecon is looking for an experience Skilled Labourer to join our growing team. This role is based out of yard in Hamilton, Ontario.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :
Operate Mini Excavator and dig around live utilities
Load and unload heavy equipment in a secure and damage free manner
Transport cargo and/or equipment utilizing various combinations of truck and trailer
Complete the Driver's daily pre-trip, en-route and post-trip vehicle inspections
Complete the Driver's logbook, accident, or incident reports
Maintaining a clean and orderly vehicle (interior and exterior)
Digging/holes and trenches, pulling cable
Operating tools and equipment and supporting the crew as needed
General site preparation and clean-up as directed
Other duties as required

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Skilled Labourer must have 3- 5 year experience in working in FTTH program
must have 3-5 years skills in operating mini ex (john deer)
must have a valid G license with clean abstract
must have valid first aid certification, Confined space
good understanding of MC and cable plans (drawings) is an asset but not required
must have an excellent understanding of locates
must have excellent understanding of CVOR requirements
must be proficient with Tablet and cell phone and outlook
an asset but not required 3-5 years of experience working with man hole access
an asset but not required 3-5 years of experience breaking into existing structures
an asset but not required 3-5 years of experience pulling cables man hole to man hole
