QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Chartered Professional Accountant designation with current membership in good standing
  2. A post-secondary degree in a related discipline such as commerce, management or economics from an accredited educational institution
  3. A postgraduate degree in a health leadership and or business-related field or other additional education in health leadership and planning are assets
  4. Knowledge of public sector accounting is an asset
  5. Demonstrated comprehensive senior leadership capabilities
  6. 7 years of progressive mid-to-senior management experience leading enterprise-wide corporate services and finance functions including forecasting, measurement, and reporting in a large publicly funded enterprise, preferably in health-care
  7. 5 years of experience overseeing financial planning and reporting
  8. 5 years of experience building and leading a high-performing corporate services and finance team
  9. 5 years experience with auditors
  10. Experience monitoring operational goal achievements and performance management
  11. Previous experience in health-care planning and delivery is an asset
  12. Province of Manitoba Class 5 Drivers Licence, or equivalent from province of residence, and access to a personal vehicle to provide service within Prairie Mountain Health
  13. Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook)
