As a Mainframe z/OS Specialist, you will be part of the IT department supporting complex network and systems environments. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to technical challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mainframe z/OS Specialist

Location: Toronto, ON

What's the Job?

• Provide primary zOS support for IBM commercial mainframe accounts.
• Install and maintain Mainframe z/OS and related ISVs.
• Engage in problem determination and resolution, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery tests and on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with vendors for product questions and problem determination.

What's Needed?

• In-depth knowledge of zOS Operating Systems and system utilities.
• Experience with SMP/E, Assembler coding, and diagnostic skills.
• Strong understanding of problem and change management processes.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to client change management processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
