Harbinger Network has partnered with a growing manufacturer in Guelph looking for their next General Manager to join their team.
This role is open due to retirement and will have a strong focus on increasing sales and profitability.

In this role you can expect to:

1. negotiate terms with new and existing suppliers
2. have a hand in sales
3. work with a small team where you will be able to influence company culture from day 1
4. have full P&L responsibility
5. set strategic objectives
6. ensure costing is accurate

What do you bring to the table?

1. MINIMUM of 5 years experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in Manufacturing
2. previous P&L accountability
3. relocation not provided - you must live within a reasonable commute of Guelph
4. experience with budget creation
5. previous experience assisting or leading sales efforts
6. able to set strategic objectives and deliver on them
7. strong relationship management, both internally and externally
8. negotiation skills
