Full Details:
Position Title: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Developer
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 06 Months long Contract (with possibilities of extension)

Location: This role is based in GTA / Toronto, ON / Anywhere within Canada ( Remote Role)

Start Date: End of April 2025

Pay Rate: 75$ - 95$ Incorporated + HST

OR

60$ - 75$ on T4

(Depending on years' of experience and skillset)

Job Description (Must - have Skills):

We are looking for a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Developer with below skillsets:

Must-have Skills:

  • At least 08+ years of overall relevant experience required

Retail domain specific Technical experience is a must have skill requirements (Retail experience is absolutely critical)

We are looking for a "Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) Developer" with extensive experience in the retail domain, system integrations, and third-party Point of Sale (POS) systems.

All 3 of these skills are CRITICAL - Retail, Integration, and POS

Key Responsibilities:

Dynamics 365 Development:

  • Develop and customize Dynamics 365 F&O modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, and Retail, to meet business requirements.
  • Implement extensions, plugins, workflows, and custom entities within D365 F&O.

Integration Expertise:

  • Design and develop integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and third-party POS systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient data exchange.
  • Leverage tools such as Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, Data Management Framework (DMF), and custom APIs.

Retail System Optimization:

  • Provide advanced configurations and support for retail-specific functionalities within Dynamics 365.
  • Enhance the end-user experience by implementing retail-focused enhancements in pricing, inventory, and customer interactions.

Third-Party POS Systems Integration:

  • Work with vendors and internal teams to integrate, test, and deploy third-party POS solutions with D365 F&O.
  • Ensure data consistency and accuracy between systems in real-time or batch processing.

Skills Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations development.
  • Strong background in retail implementations, including configuration of D365 Retail or Commerce modules.
  • Proven experience integrating D365 F&O with third-party POS systems and other external solutions.
  • Proficiency in X , C#, .NET Framework, and Visual Studio.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services like Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Functions.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI for reporting.
  • Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools like DMF.
