MPA are retained by Ontario's leading executive health clinic in Toronto to recruit for a Mammography Technologist to join their downtown clinic. The client are leaders in prevention and longevity medicine, providing care for their clients for over 25 years.
Their state-of-the-art clinic in Toronto has a large diagnostic imaging department which includes 14 rooms for Ultrasound & 2 rooms for X-Ray, Mammo and BMD. In this role, you will work alongside an esteemed team of Technologist to provide exceptional care in a preventative healthcare model. You will perform primarily mammograms for clients however may be required to do some x-ray and bone density scans from time to time. This role will also assist with facilitating the flow of patients through the clinic and coordinating with the team to ensure exceptional delivery of service.
Responsibilities
Patient preparation for and performance of mammograms, bone density scans, and x-rays.
Record and process patient data
Operate and maintain equipment and perform basic quality control checks.
Update, file and maintain client information.
Review of previous reports and discussion with physicians and radiologists.
Prepare for the next day's client list by checking for previous exams.
Assist the clinic with other duties as appropriate.
