Reporting to the Director, Energy and Sustainability Services, the Manager, Plant Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of plant operations (heating, cooling, air and gas) and to administer the central plant operations services and programs. The Manager will be required to contribute to broader, annual departmental planning including identification of goals, targets, and outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional, acting as a subject matter expert in the area of facility and plant operations, and have previous supervision and leadership experience. The Manager, in collaboration with others will oversee the day-to-day plant operations, implement a maintenance program, and lead the ongoing operational planning and projects seeking opportunities for improvement.
