About the opportunity

As a Lending Advisor, you will work closely with and be guided by the Director of Sales. You will help generate new business by promoting our financing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses across Canada.

Responsibilities

The Lending Advisor will:

Develop relationships with business owners to ensure they have a great experience
Act as a true partner for each client by understanding their business goals, key initiatives to achieve those goals, and how Journey Capital credit products will help drive these desired results
Help prepare the client's application and negotiate the funding terms with the business owner
Prospect and convert leads into customers
Consistently meet and exceed individual and team weekly, monthly, and annual targets

What you're bringing to the table

Alongside unwavering ethical principles, you showcase:

Highly motivated and results-oriented individual.
2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in Fintech.
Competitive and have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Excellent diplomacy, negotiation, organizational and information management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English.
Strong organizational skills, self-discipline and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
A good understanding of credit.
The ability to prioritize and manage various tasks.
