What We're Looking For Bannister Nissan seeks a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales-focused and customer-centric team. As a key player reporting to the General Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving success in both New and Used Sales. This pivotal role involves overseeing department managers, ensuring their performance, training, and development align with our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Craft annual sales forecasts, estimating total vehicle sales, gross and operating profits, and expenses for both new and used sales departments.
Collaborative Objectives: Work closely with vehicle sales managers to plan and implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits.
Team Development: Hire and monitor department managers, conduct weekly sales meetings, and provide ongoing sales training.
Visual Excellence: Oversee standards for displaying and merchandising new and used vehicles, while reviewing and approving promotions.
Inventory Management: Coordinate the supply of new and used vehicles, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
Performance Reviews: Meet monthly with the General Manager to review forecasts and profits, collaborating on advertising plans, promotions, staffing, and compensation.
Customer Satisfaction: Address customer complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Quality Assurance: Audit all appraisals of trade-in vehicles and oversee the issuance of demonstration vehicles, maintaining accurate dealership records.
Key Requirements
Minimum 2 years automotive sales management experience.
Completion of post-secondary education in business preferred.
Proficient in computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
Essential Skills

Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
