Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer to join our team in Toronto, ON. This is a 12-month contract position with a hybrid work model, requiring 2 days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
Enhance and maintain our Java-based liquidity risk platform.
Develop and deploy solutions to meet US FED liquidity remediation reporting requirements.
Work with big data sources to optimize application performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Adhere to agile development methodologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:
10+ years of overall software development experience
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and React
Deep understanding of relational databases, especially SQL Server
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Solid foundation in test-driven development (TDD) and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience in capital markets and regulatory reporting
Knowledge of liquidity risk management concepts
Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.)
