As a Technical Inside Sales, you will be selling Electric Motors, Metric Gearboxes, and Coolant pumps. You will be fielding requests from distributors and motor shops, answering technical questions, preparing quotes, and following up on orders. The position includes a base salary of $60,000 - $70,000 with bonuses and other perks!

You will be selling high-quality Italian-made IEC metric motors, flameproof motors, coolant pumps, and a metric line of gearboxes.

THE POSITION
This is a technical inside sale, 75% of the time you will be receiving calls from distribution centers, motor shops, and PT houses. You will primarily answer inbound calls, answer questions, make suggestions, provide quotes, process orders and provide technical/customer support as needed. You will be collaborating and liaising with factories and internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of products that meet customer expectations. The position requires an electrical and mechanical mindset, and the ability to decipher technical data as it relates to Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), electrical AC Motors, Gearboxes, and Coolant Pumps.

You will be selling to Engineers, Project managers, purchasing agents and system integrators. The company does not sell directly to end-users.

The length of time to close the business is from the first call to months - for both existing clients/new clients

100% supporting existing/new business - quotes, process orders, follow-up, administrative functions.
