Hours Of Work: Variable start times; 9 hour shift; flexibility to work overtime or weekends on
short notice, subject to operational needs

Pre-requisite Qualifications (knowledge, skills, attributes, accreditations, training,
experience):
- Fluent oral and written English
- Needs to work well as part of a team
- Previous commercial cleaning experience an asset
- Capable of lifting up to 19KG
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform a variety of activities which may include
lifting, bending, stretching, squatting, pulling; exposure to heat or cold, blast freezer and
wet conditions
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, WHMIS, GMP, and HACCP procedures
Job Summary (purpose of job, what is done, how):
- The Cleaner is responsible for cleaning all aspects of store premises, to GMP
and HACCP standards, including:
o garbage removal
o exterior maintenance
o operation of the garbage compactor
o recycling of cardboard in the appropriate bin
o cleaning of interior production facilities, Shipping/Receiving, offices, washrooms,
employee areas, etc.

Working Conditions (physical requirements, hours, travel, other):
- Requirement to stand, etc. for long periods of time, in extreme cold, hot and wet
conditions
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain personal hygiene and workplace cleanliness, in accordance to GMP training
- Complete daily assigned cleaning checklist activities
- Communicate any questions, concerns or suggestions promptly to the Sanitation Lead
Hand or Plant Manager
- Other tasks as assigned from time to time by the Sanitation Lead Hand or Director QA

- Incumbent may also follow instructions received by Director Operations, Production
Supervisor and/or QA Specialist, in the absence of the Director QA or Lead Hand
Standards Of Performance (how job performance is measured):
- Attendance; promptness; personal hygiene
- Maintenance of workplace tidiness and cleanliness per GMP and HACCP standards
(indirectly contribute to Company profitability via consistent compliance with BRC
standards)
