We are looking for a New distribution center implementation project lead to participate in the implementation strategy and development of BRP's future PAV global distribution centre. Working with the manager, you will oversee the development, creation, optimization and implementation of BRP's future distribution centre.
By making efficient use of our supply chain, the project lead is constantly looking for ways to improve service while reducing costs. Prioritizing multiple demands from diverse stakeholders, leading and influencing partners, and adapting to a highly dynamic environment will be the main challenges of this role.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Provide leadership and collaborate with our 3PLs and service providers for enhanced solution implementation.
- Manage the project budgeting/forecasting process and implement cost mitigation strategies, as needed.
- Establish a network of external value-added partners to introduce new concepts within the company.
- Coordinate the work done by a multidisciplinary team associated with project realization.
- Facilitate various workshops to identify improvement opportunities and implement action plans.
- Enhance our customer service promise in line with BRP's brand positioning and the changing competitive landscape.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, logistics or another relevant field.
- At least 8 years of experience in supply chain project management in similar industries (automotive, consumer goods, replacement parts, etc.).
- Proven experience in distribution centre organization projects.
- Skilled in leading supply chain optimization projects, including implementing associated systems.
- Adept at applying project management best practices.
- Good knowledge of the SAP environment.
- A proven ability to operationalize the strategic plan to achieve the company's desired profitability objectives.
- The ability to communicate effectively and promote your ideas at different levels of the organization, including senior management.
- Recognized as a passionate leader who is focused on people, organizational development, relationship building and change management.
- Organized and analytical, focused on improving processes and maximizing system capabilities.
- A demonstrated ability to solve problems, make decisions, think laterally, and offer creative solutions.
