This is an opportunity in the exciting and fast-growing transportation technology industry. Public transit is being transformed from a system of static, scheduled fixed-routes, to a dynamic on-demand network, and you'll be one of the pioneers shaping this transformation.

We are seeking a proficient and collaborative Salesforce Architect/Developer to join our talented Engineering team. As a Salesforce Architect/Developer, you will play a critical role in driving our Salesforce ecosystem, aligning business processes with technical solutions, and enhancing the overall Salesforce platform's functionality. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, customization, integration, and development best practices.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce implementations, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, flexible, and sustainable Salesforce solutions.
Design and develop customized solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura & LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
Perform configuration tasks such as workflows, custom objects, validation rules, process automation, and security settings.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other members of the team.
Establish best practices for coding, security, scalability, and maintainability in Salesforce development.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing systems and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Troubleshoot and fix complex technical issues related to the Salesforce platform.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including data models, process flows, and design specifications.
Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, governance, and security standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
5+ years of proven experience in Salesforce architecture and development.
Salesforce Architect or Developer Certifications (e.g. Platform Developer I/II, Application/System Architect.)
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Components, Apex, Visualforce, Flows and Formulas, appexchange products, and Salesforce APIs.
Experience with release management, source control, and deployment technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services
Experience in designing and implementing integrations with external systems.
Expertise in developing scalable and secure Salesforce solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary: $110K - $130K + performance-based bonus + stock options.
