Under the general supervision of the Controller, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining the quality of outstanding customer service. His role consists of constantly providing information, verbally and in writing, ensuring the receipt of orders, recommending delivery dates and the availability of production equipment, as well as ensuring the invoicing of products shipped and verifying that they are sent to the various customers.
To this end, the customer service clerk must contribute to achieving and exceeding quality and productivity objectives as well as the standards set for his department; he must ensure the order and safety of his workstation; he must ensure that a good work environment is maintained in his department.
