Job Description:

As a Marketing & SEO Intern at GAO Tek Inc., you will play an integral part in boosting our digital marketing efforts, primarily focusing on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This internship offers practical experience in the ever-changing world of digital marketing. You will collaborate closely with our experienced marketing team to assist in the formulation and execution of SEO strategies, enhance online visibility, and help drive organic traffic to our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Keyword Research:
- Conduct research on keywords to discover opportunities for website improvement and content development.
- Analyse and choose the most relevant keywords to boost our online presence.
2. Content Development:
- Assist in creating engaging, SEO-friendly content such as blog posts, articles, and social media updates.
- Work with the content team to ensure alignment with SEO goals.
- Develop content using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Bard, Bing, and others.
3. On-Page SEO:
- Aid in optimizing website content, meta tags, and other on-page factors for better search engine rankings.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
4. Off-Page SEO:
- Help with link-building initiatives to improve the domain authority of our site.
- Work with the marketing team to implement off-page SEO strategies.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
- Use tools like Google Analytics to track and analyze website traffic.
- Regularly report on key SEO metrics, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
6. Competitor Research:
- Analyze competitor websites to identify trends and opportunities in the industry.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO and digital marketing advancements.
7. Technical SEO:
- Use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor website traffic, user behavior, and key metrics.
8. Website Audits:
- Conduct website audits to spot technical issues and recommend areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Currently pursuing a degree in any discipline including Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights from data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Moz is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
