Wonderkids Therapy for Children Ltd. ("WonderKids OT"), located at 2888 Franklin St., Vancouver, BC is looking an enthusiastic OT with a passion to work in pediatrics. We have a full time and part time permanent position open and invite you to join our well established and experienced team that provides a strong learning, growing community with ongoing support and training for all staff. If you want to work with children and adolescents in a neuro-diverse affirming clinic with a strong focus of sensory integration, attachment based therapy and mental health support, this position is for you.

We are looking for somebody to join our team who can perform OT treatment and assessments. The hours and amount of work can be highly flexible and adjusted to your needs. There might also be an opportunity for outreach work within the company.

Education:
Minimum education is a Bachelor's degree (Occupational Therapy/Therapist); however, a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
Work experience in peadiatrics is preferred but ongoing Mentorship will be provided to all staff.

Job Duties:
OT treatment and possible assessments
Individual and group treatment sessions with children and their families on evenings and or weekends.
Analyze clients' capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews and formal assessments.
Develop and implement treatment programs
Maintain clinical and progress reports
Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC)

Work Experience:
At least 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred

Excellent English written report writing skills as well as communication skills both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to connect and communicate well with children and their parents.
A fun, engaging and professional attitude.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector checks.
Licensed member of the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC)
