Lead Occupational Therapist (OT)

Join our team as a Lead Occupational Therapist, where you'll oversee and elevate Occupational Therapist (OT) services across the Prairie region. You'll mentor clinicians, ensure high-quality care, and drive business growth in collaboration with Clinic Directors, Regional Directors, and Provincial Leaders. Your leadership will inspire clinical excellence and foster professional development, all while expanding our OT offerings and building strong community connections.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Mentorship: Provide expert guidance and clinical mentorship to OTs, oversee comprehensive onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration into clinic operations and Lifemark's values, and foster continuous professional development. Facilitate performance oversight through stay interviews and regular feedback, while supporting the creation and tracking of employee success plans.
Clinical Excellence: Oversee and maintain high standards of service delivery, review performance metrics, and address clinical challenges. Ensure quality assurance through compliance with clinical guidelines and accreditation standards. Support improved access to care and provide mentorship on complex cases to enhance patient outcomes.
Business Development & Growth: Collaborate with Clinic Directors and Regional Directors to identify and execute strategies for expanding OT services, foster partnerships, and raise awareness of Lifemark's OT offerings. Prepare business cases for new initiatives and assist in contract renewals to ensure services are competitively priced and aligned with market conditions.
Recruitment & Retention: Play a key role in recruiting skilled OTs by working with HR and Clinic Directors to attract top talent. Foster a supportive and fulfilling work environment to enhance long-term retention and job satisfaction. Engage with universities, OT associations, and professional networks to source talent and collaborate on educational initiatives.
Alignment with Organizational Goals: Ensure OT services align with Lifemark's organizational strategy and contribute to operational and financial objectives in the region. Provide input on new initiatives, clinical programs, and process improvements to enhance the value and scope of services offered.

Qualifications:

Degree in Occupational Therapy
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, ideally with leadership or mentorship responsibilities
Registered and in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
