We are looking for a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful long term care facilities in Burnaby, BC.

Position Details: Casual (Night Shift)

Compensation: $32.84 per hour

Position Summary:
Performs assessments, plans, implements and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.
Direct supervision of care staff to meet resident's needs.
Provides personal care to patients including assisting the patient with bathing, dressing, care of skin and hair; changing beds; assisting with toilet needs; and overseeing patient exercise routines
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Excellent written and oral communication
Knowledge and background in Dementia care strong asset
Desire to continually stay educated in relevant areas of long-term care and nursing a big asset.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $32.84 per hour

Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Night shift
Weekends as needed

Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
