Your daily life:
As a key member of the team, you will apply your skills and experience to manufacture quality machined parts from drawings, meeting required tolerances and specifications, while optimizing production quality and efficiency to contribute to the realization of the most advanced inspection solutions in non-destructive testing (NDT).

In this role, you will:
• Operate CNC machinery to manufacture quality parts (Haas VF-2 mill with 4th axis and Haas SL-20 3-axis lathe & Haas ST25 Y-axis lathe with live tooling);
• Manually machine and manufacture quality precision parts (manual lathe and mill);
• Monitor and maintain machinery and tools, troubleshooting as required;
• Accurately complete required documentation.

What we're looking for:
• You will be a Journeyman/Red Seal Machinist (we are willing to accept a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice, and will pay for Red Seal Certification for qualified candidate);
• You will have a minimum of 2-5 years' experience as a Machinist;
• You are able to correctly read and interpret blueprints and interpret technical manuals;
• You have a strong attention to detail and take pride in machining quality components;
• You have the ability to manage complex machining tasks with a high level of productivity and accuracy;
• You have experience with Mastercam programming and machining small parts;
• You excel in working well under pressure and managing demanding timelines;
• You are an effective team player and take a collaborative approach;
• You can demonstrate knowledge of properties of materials and tools, machining practices, production processes, and quality control.
