Reporting to the Manager, Game Entertainment & Community, the Game Entertainment and Community Coordinator is responsible for leading the execution of Club events, community activations, and Game Day entertainment initiatives. This role oversees the operational planning and logistics for internal and external events, ensuring seamless execution while maintaining alignment with strategic objectives set by the Manager, Game Entertainment & Community.
Additionally, the Game Entertainment and Community Coordinator will manage relationships with entertainment teams (Cheer, Gainer, Pep Band, Hype Team, Event Team) and be responsible for operational leadership of event-day logistics, including pre-game Party in the Park, and in-game execution of script deliverables.

Where You'll Shine:
Event Planning & Execution:
- Follow the plan set out by the Manager, Game Entertainment & Events and lead the execution of planning, coordination of all assigned events, including Rider-led and community-driven events.
- Lead planning and execution of Party in the Park, ensuring a seamless pre-game experience for fans.
- Develop and finalize scripts for game day programming.
- Assist Game Day event operations, including pre-game fan experiences such as Party in the Park and in-stadium entertainment logistics.
- Assist in the execution of theme games, supporting the Manager, Game Entertainment & Community in bringing strategic plans to life.
- Ensure all event operations and logistics meet budgetary and brand guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments, external vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure event success.
- Support co-branded and partnership-driven events, ensuring Rider presence and brand integrity.
- Assist in the post-event reporting process, providing analysis on successes, challenges, and improvements.
Entertainment Team Oversight:
- Manage relationships and operational execution for Cheer, Gainer, Pep Band, Event team and Hype Team.
- Support budgeting and revenue stream development for entertainment teams (e.g., Cheer calendar, appearance fees).
What You'll Need:
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in Sport Management/Administration, Business, or Event Management
- Experience using MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Detail oriented with great time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and maturity when responding to staff, corporate partners and the public.
- Team oriented attitude with a "can do" service focus to achieve organizational results.
- Ability to work longer hours during the season, especially game days which are crucial for availability.
