They are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative with a hunter mentality and B2B sales expertise to drive new business growth. This role offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships and advance in a fast-paced industry.

Your Role: Drive Sales & Build Lasting Relationships

Reporting to the Vice President, this role focuses on securing new business and fostering strong client relationships with ICI contractors, facility managers, and building owners.

With the autonomy to drive sales, expand market share, and enhance customer experience, this high-energy position offers the opportunity to make a real impact while collaborating with an experienced team.

What you'll be doing:

Drive Sales & Business Growth

  • Identify, target, and convert new B2B clients in industrial, commercial, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring consistent sales growth and revenue generation.
  • Prospect aggressively through cold calls, networking, referrals, and industry events to uncover new opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets and market share goals within your assigned territory.

Develop & Maintain Client Relationships

  • Cultivate multiple points of contact within organizations, building long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions that enhance their operations.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess customer requirements and propose customized solutions for overhead doors and dock systems.
  • Follow up diligently on quotes, proposals, and ongoing projects to ensure a seamless sales experience.

Solution-Based Selling & Industry Expertise

  • Work closely with field service technicians and service management to evaluate and recommend replacement products and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals for new installations, service agreements, and aftermarket parts.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of preventative maintenance programs to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to position our client as the go-to provider.

Strategic Planning & Sales Execution

  • Develop quarterly territory sales plans and execute targeted strategies to maximize opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and competitive insights to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in billing and collections when necessary, maintaining strong client relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

B2B Sales Expertise:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, or account management—preferably in a mechanical, technical, industrial, or building materials environment.
  • Previous experience in aftermarket sales and knowledge of industrial equipment servicing is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to craft compelling proposals and close deals.

Organizational & Time Management:

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize leads, and navigate a complex sales cycle efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to track sales performance and optimize strategies.

Tech-Savvy & Business-Minded:

  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools.
  • Understanding of market dynamics, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies.

Working Conditions

  • Non-Standard Hours of Work (As per business needs)
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Ability to travel within southern Ontario; primarily within GTA
