The Opportunity:
We are looking for an Incident Release Coordinator.
Reporting to the Director, Service Delivery & Operational Governance, the Incident Release Coordinator is responsible for developing and integrating IT processes and procedures, utilizing best practices, and industry standard frameworks.
This is a new role for implementing the service management functions within the Information Technology team and ensuring that delivery of all IT infrastructure services meet or exceed service levels expectations. This role will be used by DevOps and IT Operations teams to respond to an unplanned event or service interruption and restore the service to its operational state. This role will also play a crucial role in managing DR and ensuring that delivery of all IT infrastructure services meets or exceed service levels expectations.

What your day looks like:
- This is a new role for implementing the service management functions within the Information Technology team
- Ensuring that delivery of all IT infrastructure services meet or exceed service levels expectations
- Integrate IT Processes and procedures utilizing best practices and industry standard frameworks
- Ensure that all application Release and Incident requests are addressed in a timely and effective manner and are properly documented
- DevOps and IT Operations teams to respond to an unplanned event or service interruption and restore the service to its operational state
- Work with various IT and Non-IT teams to coordinate during Incident management
- Work with various vendors during Incident Management until resolution.
- Regularly update and work on the incident processes and framework as per company policies
- Work with management to produce regular reporting on releases, problems, and incidents
- Develop Release management process for various vendors and get necessary approvals
- Develop Problem management and Incident management processes as per the standard ITIL policies in coordination with various IT/Non IT teams
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors to understand the business needs and ensure that service delivery meets their expectations
- Overseeing the incident management process and resolving the incident
- Responding to a reported service incident, identifying the cause, and initiating the incident management process
- Prioritizing incidents according to their urgency and influence on the business
- Producing documents that outline incident protocols such as how to handle cybersecurity threats or how to correct server failures
- Collaborating with the incident management team to ensure that all protocols are diligently followed
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT application support or related field
- Experience managing and leading teams of IT professionals
- Knowledge of ITIL and service management best practices
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to analyze a high volume of technical data and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem solving, analytical, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a 24*7 environment.
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $53,000 - $65,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
