POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Paint Shop team, this position will be responsible for paint prepping, polishing functions and operating painting tools while adhering to company procedures.
Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Operate palm sanders and polishers to prepare the bus for painting
· Responsible for completing tasks to ensure performance targets are met
· Maintain accurate information flow to support our first-time quality initiatives
· Adhere to safety procedures as they apply to all equipment used in this position
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
· Possess a basic understanding about the paint process, painting, priming, and masking procedures/practices with the ability to read blueprints, and or process sheets
· Have great interpersonal and communication skills
· Able to perform required duties with minimal supervision
· Operate equipment and power/hand tools that are required in this position
