We are currently looking for a Field Superintendent to join our team. This is a site based role, working a 2 week-in 2 week-out rotation with flights out of Saskatoon and Prince Albert only.

Responsibilities:
• To ensure contractors within their area are working in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements
• Review and/or develop detailed work plans according to planning processes
• May perform supervision of direct field labour on mechanical/piping scopes of work ensuring the work is completed safely and to a high quality standard
• May oversee the contractor's activities of a mechanical/piping nature confirming the work is completed safely and according to all contract requirements
• Inspections of completed work to confirm it is completed to appropriate standards, identifying deficiencies and managing the completion of deficiencies
• Monitoring the schedule and productivity of work and work collaboratively with the contractor and operations personnel to resolve issues and barriers
• Daily validation and approval of contractor submitted labour, equipment and material reports
• Responsible to coordinate field activities between contractors and the operations team as required

Requirements
- Journey-person status with E/I or Mechanical background
- Pervious experience with multi-discipline mechanical work
- Experience in a brown field construction environment
- Proficient computer skills
- Supervisor Training Certification
- Valid First Aid Certification
- CSO designation is considered an asset
