49 Solutions is currently seeking an IAM Automation Developer (Identity and Access Management) for a contract opportunity with a federal government client. This role requires a dynamic and motivated individual to support the development and implementation of automation solutions in Identity and Access Management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IAM automation workflows using tools like IBM AssemblyLine, Okta Workflows, or SailPoint.
- Integrate IAM platforms with enterprise systems via APIs, databases, and directory services.
- Configure connectors for Active Directory, LDAP, and other directory services.
- Automate data transformation processes using JSON, XML, CSV, and scripting languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement role-based access, provisioning, reconciliation, and governance workflows.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex workflows to ensure seamless functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging IAM tools and technologies.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Programming and Scripting:
- Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript/ECMAScript.
- Experience with automation tools such as IBM AssemblyLine or Okta Workflows.
- Data transformation skills using JSON, XML, and CSV.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM):
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts (provisioning, reconciliation, role-based access).
- Hands-on experience with IAM tools such as IBM ISVG, SailPoint, Okta, or Microsoft Entra.
- Integration:
- Experience configuring connectors for directory services like LDAP and Active Directory.
- Expertise in API integration and database connectivity using SQL or JDBC.
- APIs and Data Handling:
- Proficiency in RESTful API integration and structured data handling.
- Workflow Automation:
- Proven ability to design workflows in tools like AssemblyLine, Okta Workflows, or SailPoint.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities to debug and troubleshoot workflows.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Effective collaboration in cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability to quickly learn new IAM platforms.
Experience:
- 3-5 years in IAM, security, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with tools like IBM ISVG, SailPoint, Okta, or Microsoft Entra.
- Implementation of IAM workflows, including provisioning and reconciliation.
- Expertise with directory services (Active Directory and LDAP).
- Proven track record in integration projects involving IAM tools.
Preferred Certifications (Optional):
IBM Security Verify Governance certifications.
SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer or Okta Certified Professional.
Cloud certifications (Azure or AWS) for IAM and governance.
General IAM certifications (e.g., CIAM, CISM).
