Who are we looking for?

We're looking for an Associate Apparel Graphic Designer with a focus on SMU (Special Make-Up) and custom orders to join our team! This role is all about crafting unique, on-brand artwork that reflects tentree's Product DNA while collaborating closely with our Design, Sales, and Production teams, as well as our manufacturing partners. From project hand-off to final approval, you will work closely with tentree's internal teams (Design, Sales, Production), as well as tentree's manufacturing partners to create unique and on-brand graphic artwork, multiple CAD option decks, coordinate strike-offs, review samples and approve for bulk production. This role is responsible for creating artwork, CADs, and presentation decks, manipulating graphics, item creation in tentree's PLM system, and reviewing and commenting on strike-offs and samples on time.

You'll also jump in to support our mainline Graphic team with artpack creation and other design needs as workload and seasonality allow. If you're detail-oriented, creative, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you!

  • You will oversee tentree's SMU development process from start to finish
  • You will review SMU requests from the Sales department, with Design direction and guidance from the Design Director, to create corresponding artwork, CADs, and decks
  • You will create the artpacks and request strike-offs from external manufacturing partners for all approved and ordered SMU requests
  • You will manage style creation and set up, and enter and update information accordingly in PLM
  • You will review, comment, and document changes to strike-offs in PLM and in the graphics development tracker
  • You will coordinate the review and sign-off of artwork creation, deck creation, final edits, and strike offs of customized artwork with tentree's Design Director before submitting to Sales
  • You will request SMU pre-production samples and provide final approval of the artwork, style, and trim to manufacturing partners before samples to the Sales team
  • You will organize workload, adhere to strict timelines, and execute SMU development according to GTM (Go-to-Market) milestones
  • You will ensure tentree's brand standards (aesthetic, branding, quality, and sustainability) are clearly communicated and upheld
  • You will support the Apparel Graphic team as needed for delivering on key seasonal milestones
